According to market trends, the underwater dome housing market is experiencing a lift in recent years after decades of foreclosures and spiraling prices.

Real estate agent Jim Langford says his business has benefited from the boom.

“In the last five years we’ve seen an influx of lonely billionaires, evil geniuses, and super-intelligent seals who are establishing new market highs,” he told The Pasadenoid.

“Agents like me are grabbing our scuba-blazers and hitting the water,” he said.

Potential buyer Jeremy Rhodes says he’s still hoping to find a quality dome for a reasonable asking price.

“Look, I’m not trying to live in the Temple of Quechua here,” he said.

“At the same time, I don’t want to live in a fish bowl,” he added.

Market experts say underwater dome-houses are are just one example of booms in the luxury/adventure category of impractical housing. Others include giant treehouses, volcanic lairs, and ice castles.
