Editorial: If Jesus Loves Me Why Do I Keep Finding Images Of Ganesh In Objects?

Ok, I’m confused. I’ve been a member of the Catholic Church for my entire existence. I’ve studied the bible, gone to Church every Sunday, and fully accepted Jesus Christ as my one true Lord and Savior.
So can anyone tell me why I keep finding images of Ganesh in everyday objects?
It started about a year ago. I was camping in Joshua Tree when I saw a log with a strange image carved in it. I thought it may have been Christ’s heavenly visage, but when I got up close I found an unmistakable elephant-God. Ganesh. Yes, clear as day:
That was odd, but not nearly as strange as the months that followed. Since that time I have seen Ganesh’s image in 45…yes…45 different objects. I’ve seen Ganesh in stones, leaves, sand, metal pipes, bagels, and even in the dust on an old bible.
God, if this is a sign, I’m not really sure how to feel about this.
Does this mean I switch to Hinduism? Really? Honestly, I know next to nothing about that religion. There’s like, a bunch of gods right? This is so confusing.
Listen, God. If you could just send me a sign…a different sign…that would be great. Doesn’t have to be Jesus…just a cross would be reassuring. Let me see if I can find one in the night sky….
…no…come on! Are you kidding me??
